Welcome to casa de marx. After 20 years working as an IT professional, I finally took a break from it all to rekindle my creative juices. casa de marx is the result. I have always been artistic and crafty, especially when it comes to home decor. And for the past 3 years, I have been in an HGTV-induced coma as well as devouring home decor publications, like Phoenix Home and Garden . . . one of my faves! My passion for decorating has now spilled over to my friends homes as well as creating one-of-a-kind treasures to sell. I started thinking, "Maybe I could even make a living at this?" Probably not . . . but why not try. And, worse case, help others to create their own "house beautiful."
Unlike the homes in Phoenix Home and Garden, I consider my home more of a McHogan than a McMansion. So the ideas and links I am sharing on my favorite things are for anyone. I hope you enjoy and will check back often.
